This painting was poured after Hurricane Ian. It features the dynamic nature of water. Swirls of lighter blue blend seamlessly with deeper shades. The accents of sandy beige and rich brown intersperse throughout represent the debris from the storm’s winds. The organic shapes and bubble-like forms suggest the calm after the storm. Riding out a storm is common in Florida because of the length of the peninsula and the fact that there are only 2 ways out, but it leaves us with some jarring memories.
